March Favourites

Happy Easter everyone!

Can you believe its April already?! Where does the time go? Today I’m bringing you my March favourites from lifestyle to beauty and a whole lot in between here are a few bits and pieces I have been loving this month!

L’Oréal Dream Lengths
I’m very lucky to have natural long, thick hair but truth is it can also be a pain in the ass. Yes it’s long but it’s also very thick and very dry. Drying it takes about 6 years and I have to spend half my morning styling it so that it no longer resembles a birds nest. It also grows really quickly which means I need it cutting frequently thanks to split ends but that’s where Dream Lengths comes in. I was immediately intrigued as it was based as those with longer lengths just like mine. Aiming to reduce the appearance split ends and breakage from drying and brushing this product is a real winner leaving my hair feeling super smooth, strong and healthy!
-Full review coming soon-

Primark Nude Lipstick
Have you seen Primark’s new nude range because it is BOMB. They have a tonne products for you nude lovers to be excited about including their new matte lipsticks. There’s a variety of colours but I personally love the colour ‘Uncovered’ a gorgeous light pink nude. The formula is really pigmented although a little dry but such a beautiful colour! If lipsticks aren’t for you there’s also loads of other products to chose from such as highlight and eye shadow palettes. It literally looks like KKW collection except the lipstick is £1.50…Yes £1.50 !!!

L’Oréal Infallible Shaping Stick
Okay my last beauty favourite is L’Oréal’s new shaping stick. I tend to use a lot of foundation and go through it quickly so decided to purchase this to see if a stick foundation would last me longer. It definitely did. Super quick and easy to apply it is everything I need when I’m in a rush for work. It gives medium coverage which is easily buildable and melts into the skin.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine

I’ve refound my love of reading this month and after seeing this book all over my Instagram feed I decided to give it a go. I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll be honest I am very picky when it comes to books and this was not the kinda thing I would usually pick up but I am so glad I did. I was hooked from the first page and it has opened up another genre I usually wouldn’t even look at. I wont give anything away. You’ll have to read it yourself but I highly recommend that you do!

Netflix Sci-Fi

Netflix has an abundance of good films available right now but I have been LIVING for the Sci-Fi section recently. I’ve never really been a sci-fi kinda person. I mean I like star wars but that was really pretty much it until stranger things came along. After getting hooked on that I was more open to science fiction films and now I cant seem to stop. We recently re-watched 10 Cloverfield Lane which is amazing. Then we watched the Cloverfield Paradox, also amazing. Our most recent watch was Annihilation – again, amazing. All of these are still available on Netflix and a must see in my opinion. So if you’re looking for something to watch tonight go watch one of them.

(And if that’s not enough to sway you then Marvel’s Civil War and Deadpool have also been added this month. You’re welcome.)

The Walking Dead
Okay technically this part should be called ‘The Walking Dead’s Negan’ because he is my march favourite rather than the show but to be honest I am back on the walking dead bandwagon again. I was low key losing interest in the show until Negan and his beautiful face came and spiced things up. Jeffrey Dean Morgan portrayal of Negan is amazing and his character has literally made the last two seasons. I find him so amusing yet there’s always that danger lurking beneath the surface. I love how they have diverted from the comics and also I was both sad and shocked to see main characters be killed off I feel it has given the show the boost it needed. This last season has been amazing with some of my favourite episodes so far. Things are really amping up. Characters seem to be back to themselves and developing and I am excited to see what comes next (and also more of negan of course haha.)

So there you have it my March favourites! Sorry if it was a bit long and wordy I feel I haven’t had a lot of favourites for a while and really wanted to tell you guys why I love these things so much! Hope you are all having a great Easter!

Until next time!
