10 Reasons To Love Autumn πŸŽƒβ˜•πŸπŸ‘»

The dark nights are closing in. The trees have started shredding their leaves and there’s a slight chill in the air and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Sure, summers got the sun beers and BBQ’s but Autumn brings cosy nights and crunchy leaves, hot chocolate and Halloween.

Yup, Autumn’s got it all going on. There’s no sweating, no bugs or goddamn chafing. But there is duvets, cardigans and winter boots. Still unconvinced? Well here’s a few reasons why I love Autumn so much – and why you should too!

1.Nature – The tree’s are shredding their leaves turning our pavements and streets into a crunchy sea of orange and yellows. The air is cool and refreshing and an abundance of wildlife comes out to play. From Deer to squirrels you’re more likely to spy some of these amazing creatures throughout October so keep your eyes peeled!

2. Pumpkins – Autumn just isn’t the same without some kinda pumpkin in your life. From the infamous Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks to pumpkin patches and scented candles there’s no shortage of them at this time of year!

3.Halloween – Who doesn’t love Halloween?! I absolutely love Halloween. I love celebrating all things spooky from watching scary movies to going to freaky events I’m down for it all. But don’t worry, even if this holiday isn’t for you it’s a great excuse to get dressed up and have a party!

4.Cosiness – Cold days mean cosy nights. Light a few candles, grab some snacks and huddle under a blanket with a good book or tv show and you’re good to go. I mean is there anything better?

5.Grungy makeup – Brown and orange grungy makeup are one of my favourite looks though I tend to end up looking like a bit of a vampire with berry lips because I’m so pale!

6.Candles galore – This is something I tend to do all year round but come Autumn time the shops have some of the best scents available. Nothing like a big of good ol’ candle lighting to give the room a bit of ambience for those dark cosy nights.

7.Sweater Weather – big baggy knitted jumpers to swaddle in? Yes please!

8.Bonfire night – With Autumn comes Bonfire night, another holiday alongside Halloween I absolutely love. I’m already super excited for fireworks, toffee apples and sparklers.

9.Binge worthy tv series – October see’s the return of some of my favourite shows and I cannot wait. From Walking Dead and Stranger Things to the last season of The middle you can guarantee I’ll be living it up on the sofa binge watching my way through them all this Autumn!

10.Christmas planning – Yes I said the C word. Christmas! It maybe a tad early but I’m already getting excited about it in the back of my mind thinking about all the fun festivities I wanna get up to before Santa arrives this year.

So there you have it my 10 Reasons to love Autumn! Are there any other reasons you love this season that I’ve missed? Thanks for stopping by!Until next time,
Abby -x-

I love autumn for all the reasons you’ve mentioned, other than I don’t like planning for Christmas too soon, it makes time go too fast. I like to wait until Halloween and Bonfire night are celebrated.
My favourite things are cosy knitwear, candles, and the amazing colours of nature.
