Happy Friday everyone!
Yes today I am bringing you my first ever favourites blog post. I’ve seen a lot of these and really should stay away from them because I ALWAYS find something new to try which ends up with me either spending a tonne of money I don’t have on new exciting products or sacrificing half my life to a new tv programme and becoming a die hard fan (honestly I never learn).
Anyway, I thought I’d give it a try and share some of the things I’ve been enjoying this month with you lovely lot. There’s a bit of everything of in there from makeup to movies. So without further ado here is my monthly favourites:
1. Nixon Camera & Blogging
As I’m sure many of you know I only began blogging last week and I’ve been absolutely loving it and using my Nixon Camera. I never thought I was really that much of a creative person but I’ve been hooked on taking photos ever since I started. I’m not saying they are the best photos by any means. I know I have a lot to learn and work on but I am thoroughly enjoying the process of taking and editing images to go alongside my blog. I don’t know what it is but I love the thought of being able to write what I want, when I want and I’m super excited to carry on being inspired by you all and see what I’m able to create.
2. Beauty Faves
I’m a creature of habit when it comes to my makeup and tend to stick to what I know however I am becoming more and more easily persuaded with all these amazing new products hitting the shelves and found a couple of things that have been added to my makeup bag.
The first is Primark’s new matte liquid lip kits. I reviewed it for my last post so go and check it out if you want to know my thoughts about it. I got the colour cookie dough and I absolutely love it. I’ve wore it a few times this week and have been asked multiple times where it’s from so I’d highly recommend checking this out (I mean you cant really go wrong. Even if you hated it it’s only £3 you’d have spent which is less than half than what you’d pay for an average lip kit!)
Okay I’ll be honest so I’ve had this for a few months but I use it every single day so I’m adding it in! I’m loving Maybelline’s Brow precise fibre filler at the moment. Years of over plucking have left me with very sparse brows that haven’t seemed to grow since I began messing them up in Y7 so this is a blessing in disguise. Providing tiny microfibers to your brows this product gives you fuller, thicker looking brows that still gives you that natural look without the hassle of using a pencil. Watch out Cara Delavigne there’s new brows on the scene!
The next thing is a little naughty but I found them so useful this month and they are Simple’s face wipes. I know, I know cleanser is better and I usually use that alongside toner and moisturiser but I was so sick of being tired and waking myself up by taking forever to take my makeup off. I’ve just found these so much easier and quicker over the last few weeks but I wont be using them all the time. They are ideal for those drunken nights out or nights when your half asleep and need to whip off face in a jiffy!
3. Music 🎶
I am absolutely living for Enrique Iglesias new song – Subeme La Radio at the moment. I was a big Enrique fan back in the day and when I heard his new song and it just made me fall back in love with him all over again. I much prefer his Spanish cross English mixes and this song is just fab. Looking for something to get you in the summer vibe or an alternative to Despacito? Try this!
Now I watch a lot of Youtubers and I have a few firm favourites but I am bloody LIVING for Shane Dawson right now! I don’t know where I have been or why it has taken me so long to find him but he is absolutely hilarious and definitely my sense of humour. If you don’t know who he is he can be a bit rude at times for younger audiences but mainly he just eats food and gets up to weird shit (I knew there was a reason why I could relate 🙄) If you haven’t already go check him out!
I went to the pictures at the beginning of the week to see Dunkirk and I have to say it was amazing. I’m interested in history so was keen to see this (even more so once Tom Hardy was cast 😍) and it didn’t disappoint. It was a real eye opener. Intense and heart stopping I’d recommend everyone to go and see it. Christopher Nolan and all the cast really did a fantastic job.
So there you have it my July favourites! What are some of your favourites? Were there any in my list that you’ve been loving? Let me know if there were!
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time,
